Global Health and Development

Global health explores public health issues through a variety of different subject backgrounds.

Global Health and Development is in the spotlight like never before with the Covid-19 pandemic and the climate emergency affecting public health and development across the world.

Here at Queen Mary, our academics are investigating key global health and development challenges and are actively involved in shaping public policy and raising awareness in the local and global community.

You can choose to study these topics at undergraduate level, as an intercalated degree (for medical, dental and veterinary students) and at postgraduate level.

I had the opportunity to intercalate in an MSc in Global Public Health and Policy which has given me a great insight into research and how I could incorporate that into my career as a dentist in the future.
