Queen Mary is pleased to provide a series of webinars and student panels to support you with your journey to higher education  

Summer 2023 webinars released

Our online series of webinars and student panel events aims to support you through the different stages of the application process 

Each session will provide you with information and practical tips to guide you through your journey to higher education. You will get the chance to hear from current Queen Mary students who have been through it all before.

Parents and Carers you will notice specific sessions to help you support your young person throughout their journey to higher education but please feel free to also register for sessions aimed at students.

Parents and Carers- Preparing for Clearing and Results Day

Wednesday 26 July 2023 - 6.00- 7.00pm (BST)

This session will help you support your younger person during the stressful period of results day and understand the UCAS clearing process. 
We will cover:
  • How to support your young person 
  • What UCAS clearing is 
  • How to apply through clearing 
  • Why students apply via clearing 
  • What happens if they are made an offer via clearing 
  • What happens on results day
  • Tips on how to support them to prepare for all outcomes on results day.

A Queen Mary Student's Perspective: Clearing and Results Day

Wednesday 09 August 2023 - 4.30- 5.30pm (BST)

Hear from Queen Mary students who applied via Clearing. 
They will share:
  • How the navigated the process
  • Tips on how to apply via Clearing 
  • Advice on how to prepare for unexpected outcomes on results day. 

You will have the chance to ask them questions about clearing and results day.
